16. In the Wild

To many horsemen, the summer´s riding tour is the high point of the year. Some people only ride dutifully during the winter to train their horses, thereby ensuring that they are at their best during the summer riding tour. Icelanders are lucky enough to be able to ride almost without restriction in their country, and in the last few decades this way of travelling has become very popular. In addition, many foreigners visit Iceland specifically to enjoy long or short riding tours.
